GOSSIP POINT

Editorial Policy

Our standards begin with an honest account of what an article can establish.

Clarity and evidence

Gossip Point aims to explain topics in language readers can follow. Factual claims should be checked against sources appropriate to the subject, with original documentation and identifiable primary material preferred when available.

A source link is an invitation to examine evidence. It should not be treated as proof merely because another website has repeated a claim. Where the available evidence is incomplete, an article should acknowledge the gap.

Original work and fair attribution

Articles should add useful reasoning, context, or practical explanation. We should not invent interviews, test results, personal experiences, qualifications, or first-hand reporting. Illustrations should be recognisable as illustrations.

Quotations and third-party work require appropriate attribution. Media should be used with suitable rights and should not imply that a person shown in a stock photograph participated in a reported event.

Commercial identification

Readers should be able to distinguish advertising and sponsored material from independent editorial work. Commercial arrangements should not determine a factual conclusion or produce an unsupported endorsement.

Categories, dates, and updates

Each article has one primary category. Fashion concerns clothing and style; Lifestyle concerns the wider routines and spaces of daily life. Headings, summaries, and pictures should reflect the actual article.

Dates give publishing context, but a date alone does not guarantee that changing product features or rules remain current. Where a change materially affects the explanation, the article should be updated or clarified.

Raising a concern

Email basicnews10@gmail.com with the article URL, the precise statement, and supporting evidence. We consider factual correction requests against the available information. Material corrections should be explained where readers need that context. Routine spelling and formatting edits may be made without a separate notice.
